VICTRIX Foot Knights Sprues (x8 28mm Medieval Miniatures)

When the charge is spent and the battle closes to a grinding melee, it is the Foot Knight who decides the day. Armoured in mail and surcoat, wielding sword, axe, or mace, these elite warriors were the most dangerous men on any medieval battlefield — trained from birth to fight and kill in close combat.

This set contains two sprues — one with bodies and weapons, and a half sprue of 14 heater shields — enough to make eight hard plastic, multipart Foot Knights representing the knightly class of the Late 12th to 13th Centuries. Figures must be assembled and painted and do not include bases.

Historical Period

Late 12th to 13th century — one of the most turbulent and conflict-ridden eras in medieval history. These figures are suitable for:

Armour & Equipment

The set reflects the transitional nature of knightly equipment across this period. The surcoat did not become universally adopted until the late 13th century, so the mix of 5 surcoated and 3 mail-only figures gives the set excellent flexibility across the full era.

Helmet Styles

• Flat-topped Barrel helms — the iconic enclosing helm of the 13th century
• Conical helmets — similar to the Norman style, representing earlier or regional variants
• Kettle helms — practical open-faced helms worn across all classes

Earlier and later styles can be used together — equipment was passed from father to son and lasted generations, giving you full flexibility across the period.
