Build ferocious warbands of northern European warriors with one of the most detailed and versatile Ancient Germanic set available in 28mm hard plastic. Hundreds of part combinations give you the freedom to create a warband that is entirely your own — no two figures need look alike.

Figures come unassembled and unpainted. Bases not included.

What's on the Sprue?

  • 60x Germanic Warriors
  • Armoured and unarmoured body options
  • Multiple head sculpts including Swabian knots and top knots, capturing the fierce look of these northern European warriors
  • Variety of shield options
  • Javelins, spears, swords, battle standards and war-horns
  • Numerous additional parts for dozens of unique pose and equipment combinations

Historical Period

100 BC to 200 AD — the era of Rome's wars against the Germanic tribes, from the Cimbrian War through the height of the Imperial frontier conflicts. These figures represent the warriors who clashed with the legions of Rome across the Rhine and deep into the forests of Germania.

Compatible Factions

  • Germanic tribes (Cherusci, Marcomanni, Suebi, and others)
  • Gauls and Celts (with appropriate head swaps)
  • Barbarian allies and foederati
  • Note: heads from this set are also compatible with the Dark Age Archers & Slingers set for Germanic Dark Age conversions

Recommended Historical Rulesets

  • Hail Caesar — field as Germanic warband infantry to threaten the flanks of Roman battle lines
  • To the Strongest! — use as Barbarian warriors in Ancient period scenarios
  • SAGA: Age of Hannibal — suitable as Germanic or Gallic warband troops
  • Clash of Spears — represent Germanic skirmishers and warriors in skirmish-scale Ancient games
  • Infamy, Infamy! — ideal for building Germanic warbands opposing Roman forces in this popular skirmish ruleset

Fantasy Conversion Potential

  • Kings of War — excellent as Kingdoms of Men or Barbarian infantry; unarmoured bodies suit horde-style units, armoured bodies work for heavier foot troops
  • Warhammer: The Old World — convert into Norse Marauders, Chaos Marauders, or Beastmen-adjacent human warriors with minimal modification; the Swabian knot and top knot heads are particularly well-suited to a Norse or Chaos aesthetic
  • The variety of armoured and unarmoured bodies also makes these figures useful as generic barbarian or tribal warriors in any fantasy or historical-adjacent ruleset
