24 Hannibal's Hardened Veterans

Wearing a mixture of Punic and captured Roman armour, stripped from the dead after years of campaigning across Spain and Italy. These are the battle-scarred elite who crossed the Alps and shattered Roman army after Roman army.

24 Liby-Phoenician Heavy Infantry

Good solid African infantry fighting in a tight phalanx much like the Greek Hoplite. The Liby-Phoenicians were the dependable backbone of Carthaginian armies, disciplined and well-equipped for close-order fighting.

14 Libyan Javelinmen

Subject Libyan tribesmen supplying large quantities of javelin-armed skirmishers to Carthaginian armies. Recognisable by their red tunics and heavy tattoos, these light infantry provided vital screening and harassment — though they rebelled against Carthage on more than one occasion.
